Sartorial Make

Bespoke Tailoring is an art, not a science – we are passionate about handcrafting each garment with exceptional quality and precision. Our tailors and craftsmen are well trained, experienced in this trade and part of the Pall Mall family for decades.

Each garment is developed with our unique design philosophy in mind ~ elegance and perfect fitting. We respect and recognize that each body shape is different and hence the outfit needs to be customized to individual requirement. Our Atelier in Gurugram combines precision engineering with age-perfected tailoring methods with exquisite craftsmanship to deliver your Sartorial outfit, with uncompromising attention to detail. We use Bemberg lining for all our Sartorial Formal Suits, since it is lightweight, makes the suit drape better and is super sturdy, making the life of your suit really long. We use Corozo & Nut buttons to add the subtle embellishment to your suit.

The lining  is an important part of your Bespoke suit – it helps reduce wrinkles whilst providing a flattering “fall” to the jacket. Being an extra layer, it also adds to the warmth of the jacket…a blessing in winter months. At Pall Mall, you are likely to find the widest variety of lining options for your bespoke suiting. The options of lining material  vary in quality, comfort and price, and are rather important considerations when you’re getting your suit customized.

Silk

the most luxurious of all materials used for linings and perhaps even the softest, a silk lining is pure luxury and is priced at a premium as well.

Bemberg Silk

a high quality synthetic blend that is extremely comfortable and soft as well.

Acetate

a stiffer fabric that can be used to achieve the desired look, but tends to lack durability.

Rayon

scores higher than acetate on durability and is a great option for bringing down the cost of the bespoke suit.

Polyester

though a very durable fabric, it isn’t very breathable, which makes it a good option for winter jackets, but an absolute no no for summer suits.

Be it a 2-piece or 3-piece suit, single or double-breasted jacket, wide or narrow lapels, button or link cuffs, Pall Mall Sartorial delivers what you desire, with flexibility built in our service at each stage. If the embroidery on your Sartorial Sherwani needs to match that on the bride’s lehnga, then that is the brief to our design team. Your signatures can be stitched inside the jacket marking and announcing your status! Each piece is executed to the highest standards of craftsmanship with uncompromising attention to detail. Perfectly suited to your style, your outfit will form the ultimate sartorial look that is yours alone.

Journey of your Sartorial Garment

Taking Measurements

We take almost 20 body measurements, taking into account body posture and any other special requirements that you may have.

Your Specification

The customisation of each suit allows you to participate and guide in the design process, adding or changing elements that you desire. All requests are entertained and noted down.

Cutting The Pattern

The measurements are used to create a paper pattern of your suit/outfit. This drawing is then sent to our Atelier in Gurugram where it is skilfully replicated into a digital format for maximum precision.

Crafting Your Suit

Next, our master seamstresses cut your chosen cloth by hand. They use pencil marks to indicate any specific requests such as a length of the sleeve or an extra deep pocket. Hand-worked sewing machines are then used to bring the suit together

The Trial (Fitting)

Absolute precision requires trial. At this stage, the basted fitting suit, temporarily stitched together with white basting thread will be tried on by you for the first time. This process allows you to make adjustments, we do not shy away from any demands at any stage.

Delivery

Your Sartorial suit then is finally finished to create a fit that is absolutely perfect and delivered with fanfare to you
